Germany : New Chairman of Beiersdorf Supervisory Board

Reinhard Pöllath (60) is to become the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Beiersdorf AG after the company´s Annual General Meeting on April 30, 2008. The decision was taken during today´s Supervisory Board meeting.

The current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dieter Ammer (57), is resigning his office after three years. He will remain a member of Beiersdorf’s Supervisory Board.

In addition, Arno Mahlert (61) will succeed Reinhard Pöllath as Deputy Chairman of Beiersdorf’s Supervisory Board after the Annual General Meeting. Reinhard Pöllath is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of maxingvest ag, the management holding company that holds 50.46 % of Beiersdorf’s shares. Arno Mahlert is Chairman of the Management Board of maxingvest ag.
