Pregnant Jessica Alba and Honor Marie: Dancin' Darlings

Pregnant Jessica Alba and Honor Marie: Dancin' Darlings

Fresh off of her exciting pregnancy news, Jessica Alba held her daughter Honor Marie in her arms the pair headed to dance class in Los Angeles on Thursday morning (February 17).

Making for quite the adorable duo, the "Little Fockers" actress donned dark clothing and a large scarf as she and her little angel followed up the studio session with a bite to eat for breakfast.

As for the baby on board, Miss Alba broke the news on her Facebook page on Wednesday, February 16th.

She wrote, "I thought I'd drop by to let you all in on some exciting news -- Honor is going to be a Big Sister! Cash and I are thrilled and wanted to share the news directly with you so you didn't hear about it somewhere else."

The 29-year-old added, "I appreciated all of the love and support you all gave me during my first pregnancy and will definitely appreciate it again this time around."

Jessica Alba Dazzles at 2011 BAFTAs

Jessica Alba Dazzles at 2011 BAFTAs

Having made the trip overseas the previous evening, Jessica Alba was on-hand for the Orange British Academy Film Awards 2011 in London, England on Sunday (February 13).

Held at The Royal Opera House, the "Little Fockers" actress looked glamorous in bright blue as she mingled with fellow attendees ahead of the UK's BAFTA festivities.

The ceremony sees Jonathan Ross as host for the fifth year while being broadcast on BBC1.
Of the event, Deputy Bafta chairman David Parfitt was high on British films this year around, as he said, "British film has always punched above its weight in the film world. British film is always quite well represented in the Oscars as well as the Baftas."

"It's not that we have a particular bias. British film in general plays well around the world because it's very good."

Jessica Alba And Honor Do Lunch

Jessica Alba And Honor Do Lunch

‘Little Fockers‘ star Jessica Alba took Honor Marie out for lunch yesterday afternoon. Honor looks too cute! She even waved to the paparazzi :) . Can’t wait to see her riding her new tricycle.

I am seriously loving Jessica’s bag. It’s just the right complement to her dress and ankle boots. And Honor’s dress is adorable.

Cute mother-daughter pair, wouldn’t you say?

Jessica Alba Talks Motherhood

 Jessica Alba Talks Motherhood

Though we’ve heard before what a dedicated mom Jessica Alba is, I love reading her thoughts on motherhood and her precious little honor. This girl certainly keeps her priorities in check when it comes to work and family.
“I’ve learned to forgive myself for not being perfect and not stressing myself so much. You have had a reputation for being fiercely protective of your independence. My daughter has put everything in perspective for me. You stop being selfish and driven in such a narrow personal sense, and you want to build a life for yourself and your family.
“I tended to be a workaholic in the past and now I don’t feel that kind of self-imposed stress anymore. My husband and my daughter are my real world. Together we want to build a truly loving and beautiful family. I’m very traditional in that sense. When Honor was born, I also felt that it was a good time to change many things. I was always the type of woman who tried to please other people and do everything right. Putting that kind of pressure on yourself isn’t healthy for you in the long run. It wears you down.”
It truly is amazing to see how becoming a parent can change even the biggest of celebrities.

INO Exclusive Interview With Jessica Alba: ‘Little Fockers’ In Theatres December 22nd

One of my all-time favorite comedies is “Meet The Parents,” so I was really excited when I had the opportunity to not only screen the third installment of the francise, “Little Fockers,” but also meet some of the castmembers. The film is witty and continues the hilarity with some new fun cast additions to keep the Focker story alive.

Jessica Alba is a new-comer to the francise, and plays a bubbly and flirty pharmaceutical rep that will present a challenge in Greg’s placement within the “circle of trust” and his newly acclaimed role as the “Godfocker”. With the combination of a possible hot love interest among the trials and tribulations of being a parent to twins, this film introduces a lot of obstacles to the Focker family as well many laughs to its audience.

INO Exclusive Interview With Jessica Alba: ‘Little Fockers’ In Theatres December 22nd

Despite the fact that standing next to her in a photograph is worse than any driver’s license photo I’ve ever had taken (and I was dressed for a wedding), I had a great time getting to know Jessica Alba

She is not only remarkably stunning and carries herself with a delicate grace, but she is also extremely down-to-Earth, has a clever and sarcastic sense of humor (which I love), and demonstrates what a naturally fantastic mom she is.

Although her character in Little Fockers is a single hottie, this mom feels more herself than ever now that she has Honor:
“I feel as if I finally came into my own after I had my daughter. Everything just sort of made sense.  And I was certainly not as hard on myself, certainly not as critical, and enjoyed life a lot more and having a different perspective on life, on the business, on family, on everything was amazing.”
I can only imagine how scary it must be to have a child or be pregnant and followed by the papparazzi. This is how Jessica describes dealing with it:
I was followed every day. I had to stop flipping them off. My mom said, “It’s just really not becoming when you always have this scowl, and you’re flipping them off and you’re pregnant. You don’t want to teach your daughter to see this.” And said, “They’re just so mean, Mom, and I just can’t take it anymore.” And she said, “Just suck it up, and put a smile on that face.”
In Jessica’s personal parenting style, like many moms today, she doesn’t like her infant daughter getting in too much television. She explains why her daughter hasn’t seen any Disney films:
“I don’t know.  I don’t really like her to see too much television, in the first place, and I don’t want her to have bad dreams.  And there’s always a villain in Disney movies.  And I think I’d rather her watch Yo Gabba Gabba or the Backyardigans. I think that’s it.  Or she can watch an old school cartoon like Strawberry Shortcake or Care Bears.  And that’s usually when we’re in the plane. I think she should be stimulated with other things and playing dress up and coloring.”
When asked what the most challenging part about being a mom was, Jessica adorably and eloquently replied:
“That’s a loaded question. Good Lord.  Being okay with not always having the answer. Forgiving myself for not spending every second with her.  Knowing that she’s going have to be sad or disappointed or angry.  And even though I feel totally responsible for it, letting that go and knowing that that’s just part of being a human being.  And at the end of the day, it’ll be good for her, as long as she knows she’s loved, but all that stuff’s really hard.”
In addition to meeting the lovely Jessica Alba, I had the chance to interview two of the cutest kids in Hollywood I’ve ever seen up close. The subject of “Little Fockers” is well, the little Fockers. Daisy Tahan plays Samantha Focker to on-screen twin Colin Baiocchi’s Henry Focker in the third installment. Both kids were incredibly bright, energetic, and ambitious!
“I definitely still want to be an actress when I grow up. But, I want to be so many other things. I want to be an animal trainer. I want to be a chef. I want to be an artist. I want to own an animal shelter and be a teacher,” Daisy said.
When I asked them who was most fun on set, their answer actually quite surprised me! With so many comedy veterans in this film, it turns out the most popular among the kids was Teri Polo! “Teri Polo could actually mime the voice of Elmo. She can actually make the exact voice as Elmo. It was kind of creepy,” said Colin.
“Yeah it was. It was really creepy because I thought she actually played Elmo because she would sing the theme song after they cut. And it was so funny,” added Daisy.
How fun would it be to hear Teri’s voice in something animated soon? Little Fockers is out in theatres everywhere on December 22nd and it is fun, hilarious, and adorable all wrapped in one!

Celebrity Pictures: Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro At NYC Premiere of Little Fockers

Woah, woah, WOAH. Jessica Alba looks SO different from yesterday here! Something about the way she did her hair or makeup completely changed her look. Obviously she’s way more dressed up here since this is a red carpet event, but still.

Don’t you love her little white dress? So adorable! And it’s cute, fresh, but still appropriate for the winter season. Nice.

Robert DeNiro, Laura Dern, Ben Stiller and Dustin Hoffman are all pictured in the thumbnails as well. The entire cast of Little Fockers seemed to have a good time goofing around at their NYC premiere.

Jessica Alba Enjoys Some Family Time At The Farmer’s Market

Jessica Alba Enjoys Some Family Time At The Farmer’s Market

While Jennifer Garner seems to prefer the Brentwood Country Mart as a place to hang out with her daughters, ‘Little Fockers’ star Jessica Alba seems to prefer the Santa Monica Farmers Market.

At least, here she is enjoying what looks like a nice Sunday afternoon with husband Cash Warren and daughter Honor Marie. I bet Honor had a lot of fun with that balloon :) .

I’m sure Jessica needs to enjoy this family time while she can. With ‘Little Fockers’ being released around Christmas, she’s probably going to have to do some traveling within the next couple of weeks to promote it.

Jessica Alba Brings the Quote of the Day

Jessica Alba Brings the Quote of the Day

From Elle:
Her low point was when her director told her she was ugly when she cried: “I wanted to stop acting,” Jessica Alba says. “I hated it. I really hated it.” Actually, it was the lack of acting she hated. “I remember when I was dying in Silver Surfer,” she says, referring to the 2007 Fantastic Four sequel in which she plays a woman who alternates between being invisible and wearing a spandex catsuit. “The director was like, ‘It looks too real. It looks too painful. Can you be prettier when you cry? Cry pretty, Jessica.’ He was like, ‘Don’t do that thing with your face. Just make it flat. We can CGI the tears in.’ And I’m like, But there’s no connection to a human being. And then it all got me thinking: Am I not good enough? Are my instincts and my emotions not good enough? Do people hate them so much that they don’t want me to be a person? Am I not allowed to be a person in my work? And so I just said, ‘F-ck it. I don’t care about this business anymore.’”
… says Jessica.

Jessica Alba Is Pretty in Pink in Elle

Emma Watson looks cute in Marie Claire and Jessica Alba looks feminine and pretty in Elle in the sweetest color of them all, pink.

And a few unrelated quotes from Jessica:
On her choice of roles:
“I know I haven’t been swimming in the deep end with some of the movies I’ve done. I wasn’t trying to. I knew what they were.”
On her personality:
“I’m shy. I don’t like being the center of attention. But when I do comedy, I lose all inhibition and introspection. I no longer care.”
On criticism: “I’d been so afraid of criticism ever since I was young. Every time I’d get a critique or some redirection, I’d always just take it very personally, but now I have no problem with it. It’s just a chance to try things a different way. To play more with a character. It also gives me a chance to have some input, to use my voice.”
On not respecting screenwriters: “Good actors, never use the script unless it’s amazing writing. All the good actors I’ve worked with, they all say whatever they want to say.”

Jessica Alba Brings the Quotes of the Day

On portraying sexy characters:
“I don’t really pay attention to that sexy image. It just goes with the character in the movie. At the end of the day, it’s all a part of selling a product.”
On being a feminist as a kid:
“It’s always been weird because I grew up in a very traditional, Catholic household. My parents were very strict but I broke away from that at an early age. I was a feminist when I was 5. These days, I am much more liberal-minded bit I still respect their beliefs.”
… says Jessica.

Jessica Alba Talks Sexy Label

Jessica Alba Talks Sexy Label

She’s always been easy on the eyes, but Jessica Alba says it’s all just a front in order to be more marketable in the entertainment industry.

The “Fantastic Four” mommy doesn’t concern herself with playing up to any hot persona, but rather concentrates on her career.

"I don't really pay attention to that sexy image. It just goes with the character in the movie. At the end of the day, it's all a part of selling a product."

Jessica also noted that her rebellious nature came from her conservative childhood. "It's always been weird because I grew up in a very traditional, Catholic household. My parents were very strict but I broke away from that at an early age. I was a feminist when I was 5. These days, I am much more liberal-minded bit I still respect their beliefs."
