Birthday Girl Rihanna's NBA All-Star Game Performance

Spending her 23rd birthday tending to center spotlight performing duties, Rihanna offered up a sizzling halftime show during the 2011 NBA All-Star Game at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 20).

The Barbadian beauty took the stage as she kicked things off with a rendition of her career-launching single "Umbrella" before transitioning into her hot new hit "Only Girl In the World".

Also delivering an energetic rendition of "Rude Boy," RiRi was then joined onstage by Canadian rapper Drake for their chart-topping duet "What's My Name?" - during which Drake changed up the lyrics to offer up birthday wishes to Rihanna.

Closing things out to the delight of the packed crowd, Kanye West

emerged for the final song of the evening as he and Rihanna performed "All of the Lights" - which just saw in the release of its music video directed by Hype Williams the previous day.

Once finished up with the show, Rihanna changed into something more comfortable and grabbed up a seat alongside Justin Bieber as the pair watched the Western Conference team beat the Eastern Conference squad by a score of 148-143. Kobe Bryant was named MVP.

Arriving in quite the colorful ensemble, Rihanna was spotted walking the red carpet at the BRIT Awards in London, England on Tuesday (February 15).

The “Umbrella” songstress looked glamorous in a Christian Dior Haute Couture as she arrived at the O2 Arena ahead of her scheduled performance.

Earlier this week, the 22-year-old put on an impressive show alongside Drake and Eminem at the annual Grammy Awards.

Aside from wowing the crowd with her vocals on stage, RiRi also took home a Grammy of her own for Best Dance Recording.

One of the most anticipated guests of the evening, Rihanna was spotted arriving at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles earlier tonight (February 13).

Always a fashion trendsetter, the “Russian Roulette” hitmaker looked amazing as she hit the Staples Center red carpet.

Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown will also be in attendance tonight, though he’s required by a restraining order to stay plenty far away from her.

Back in 2009, Chris ended up beating Rihanna after an argument following a pre-Grammy shindig.

Natasha ‘Tajah’ Burton is claiming that she once had an affair with Rihanna. Well, maybe not Rihanna FLAT OUT… but a “Barbadian, female pop/R&B ARTIST”. I can’t really think of another Barbadian pop star? Can you???

In her upcoming book, ‘Low Down Dirty Shame’, Natasha ‘Tajah’ Burton says the pair hooked up in 2009 (while Rihanna was dating Chris Brown).  Here’s an excerpt from the book:

“I wasn’t over my ex, but talking to her helped. She was beautiful. She wore her hair short with blonde highlights, and her style was creative. I wasn’t sure I could take her serious, so I took it one day at a time. We instantly had a connection. I could listen to her for hours, discuss media, music and fashion. She would open up to me … converse with her manager in front of me, jumping on conference calls about her new project that involved her doing a soundtrack for a feature film.”

The ‘S&M’ singer hasn’t commented about the lesbian allegations, but maybe that’s the smartest thing to do. If she comments it will just add fuel to the fire.

Rihanna Sorts Out “Bad Neighbor” Drama

She’s one of the most-loved ladies in pop music, but Rihanna's neighbor has anything but adoration for her.

Christian Moeller, who lives next door to the “Take a Bow” songstress filed a lawsuit against her for being a “bad neighbor.”


Moeller sued Ri-Ri and her landlord Stephen Yacobian for excessive chauffeurs sitting outside, as well as Rihanna’s bamboo plants that he claimed were obstructing his view of the city.
However, according to Radar the suit, filed in June of 2009, has been settled, though none of the details have been disclosed.

Reb'l Fleur: Rihanna to Release Signature Scent

Reb'l Fleur, the first fragrance to bear the name and likeness of pop superstar Rihanna, will be available to the smelly public at large January 25.

RiRi's perfume, which came about thanks to a deal brokered by manager Jay-Z, is curiously described as "like heels with a short, flirty dress."

It's a fruity mix of red berries, plum, peach, coconut water, violet and Hawaiian hibiscus, in reflection of Rihanna's tropical roots. Obviously.

Next up for Rihanna? A line of hair products. We wish.

 Reb'l Fleur: Rihanna to Release Signature Scent

As for its fun name, the scent shares it with a tattoo the pop star bears on her neck, although which came first is still up for debate at this time.

Whatever it means, Reb'l Fleur will first available at Macys for $49 a pop.

For her next scent, we suggest "Only Girl in the World" or "Hard" as good names. They get the point across, and have built-in theme songs:

Rihanna is lashing out at the “haters” again. Now it’s not just the blog readers who are unhappy, it’s the women who criticize her for being sexy. The pop singer says she’s proud of her body and feels that women who attack her online are hypocrites.

“People think I’m overly sexy. It bothers them for some reason. Girls don’t like to see other girls dressed sexy . It’s a little intimidating, I don’t mean that in a cocky way. There’s always going to be somebody not liking what you do. People have a lot of crazy opinions on things. Things I say, things I wear, places I go. It’s just stupid. It’s bulls**t. I’m a 22-year-old human being. It’s fine for me to go to a club. People are hypocrites. They can’t wait to say something horrible. Most of them are unhappy with themselves. It’s women who are mad at other women. They should take a look at their own lives. A lot of people don’t have the guts to confront themselves. They don’t have the b***s.”

 Rihanna Rolls Into the 2010 MTV EMAs

Looking ready for a sure-to-be entertaining evening, Rihanna was on-hand for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 in Madrid, Spain on Sunday (November 7).

Held at the La Caja Magica, the "S&M" singer smiled it up in a flowing gown as she made her grand entrance ahead of the evening festivities.


As for the show, the 2010 installment of the EMAs is being hosted by Eva Longoria with a digital host appearance by Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile, performers gracing the stage during the annual ceremony aside from Rihanna include B.o.B., Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Shakira and Linkin Park, among many others.

Returning to her homeland of Barbados, Rihanna was spotted at the State Funeral of the late Prime Minister David Thompson today (November 3).

The “Take a Bow” songstress looked somber as she sat in the audience at the Kensington Oval while local paparazzi snuck a few pictures.

It seems the topic of death has been a late motif in Rihanna’s life, as she is also mourning the loss of her 11-year-old Broadway singer gal pal Shannon Tavarez.

Tavarez passed away after losing her fight with acute myeloid leukemia. Ri-Ri tweeted, “Just got off of a plane ride and got horrible news that our little star Shannon Tavarez has lost her battle against leukemia! Way too soon… keep her family in your prayers.” - Hollywood Gossip
